Here’s how to adjust plastic windows in minutes so they don’t blow out.

You can feel the cold coming in through the window.

It’s all very simple and can be done in just a few minutes without any professional help. A 4 mm Allen key is all you need for adjustment.
Eccentrics for window adjustment.
Every uPVC window has three special eccentrics. These are adjusted with an Allen key and can be set to summer or winter operation depending on the season. By turning the eccentric, the pressure of the sash on the frame changes—now in more detail. To prevent the window from being blown away, adjust the eccentric so that it points mostly towards the center of the house. This presses the seals firmly against the window frame, preventing cold air from entering. For clarity, I have shown the position of the eccentric relative to the inside of the window in the photo, depending on whether it’s set to summer or winter operation.

After adjusting the lower eccentric, we move on to the other two eccentrics to ensure even pressure around the entire perimeter of the window.
We then compensate for any remaining eccentricities.
It’s also worth checking the condition of the seals, as they lose their effectiveness over time and should be replaced if necessary.
The window is now draft-free, which is noticeable by the even flame.
As a result, such a simple adjustment helps solve the problem of drafts in the window, the house becomes warmer, and there’s no snow on the windowsill in winter.
